My name is Katie, and I am the founder and operator of 'Katie Cares' located in Goderich, Ontario. Prior to becoming a mother of three, I gained employment experience in long-term care and retirement communities as a Physiotherapy Assistant and Life Enrichment Aide. My passion for serving the aging population has always driven me, as I find immense fulfillment in enhancing their quality of life through exercise, activities, and companionship. I hold two college diplomas: one in Gerontology-Social Service Work (the study of aging) and another as an Occupational/Physiotherapy Assistant. In addition to my academic qualifications, my hands-on experience in long-term care has equipped me with valuable insights into various forms of dementia, including Alzheimer's Disease. I am confident that my education, experience, and commitment to the aging community have established a solid foundation for the services I offer.
